Move-out Checklist

Notice of Intent to Vacate

Planning to move out of the rental home? Please check the lease terms and conditions to determine your legal move-out date. We ask that you please provide us with written notice of your intent to vacate at least 60 days before moving out.

Property Condition

Before handing in the keys for your rental home, you'll need to bring the property back to rent-ready condition. This involves taking care of the following:

• Rental Cleaning: Thoroughly clean ever room in your rental, taking care to remove your belongings from the property. All garbage also needs to be taken out of the unit.

Sweep/mop/vacuum the floors throughout the rental and wipe down all hard surfaces.

• Landscaping & Outdoor Areas: If you have outdoor space where you routinely address landscaping chores, take care of these once more before handing in your keys.

• Repairs: If any damage occurred during your stay, take every possible measure to make the necessary repairs. This includes patching nail and screw holes, replacing broken glass, and repainting stained walls.

Security Deposit

Your security deposit will be returned to you following your departure. We will perform a final inspection to check for damages and schedule repairs if necessary; if we do make repairs, any related expenses will be deducted from the deposit.

Please note, you cannot use these funds to cover your last month's rent payment.
